Life Without Barriers Foster Care Information Session

  • Could you be a foster carer?

Across Victoria, we urgently need more foster carers to offer long-term stable homes, short-term emergency care, or weekend respite care for children, teenagers or siblings who are unable to live safely with their families.

We welcome carers of any gender, sexuality and culture. You can be single or partnered, working or retired, with or without children of your own. To become a foster carer, your ability to care for and nurture a child is what really matters.

If you're interested in sharing your home, heart and time with a child or young person in need, please join our free live webinar to find out exactly what's involved in becoming a foster carer and whether it's the right fit for you.

We will cover the different types of care, the application and assessment process, the roles and responsibilities of being a foster carer and the support you will receive from Life Without Barriers.

Our experienced team and local foster carers will talk you through the process and answer any specific questions you have - no matter how big or small!
