Foster Care Week 2021 runs from Sunday 12 to Saturday 18 September and is an annual week of celebration recognising foster carers and the invaluable contribution they make to the lives of children, young people and families in our community.
All kinds of kids need all kinds of foster carers. Whether you're single or partnered, in a share house, working full time or not working at all, if you have a spare bedroom and want to change a young person’s life, you’ve got what it takes to be a foster carer.
Join us in celebrating the important role foster carers play in the community and raising awareness about becoming a foster carer in Victoria.
16th September, 1:30pm – ‘Getting to know Victoria’s foster carers and agencies’ live stream. Watch the recording via Facebook.
See how agencies are celebrating carers during Foster Care Week through the Foster Care Association of Victoria.
